Where two worlds meet
Two Coqs Wines began with a simple idea: to make wines that carry the elegance of French winemaking and the energy of Australia's great wine regions. Founded in 2022 in Mudgee, New South Wales, it's a small, independent label where every wine is handcrafted in small batches. No trends, no shortcuts, just balance, texture and pure fruit, with each vintage left to express its own season and place.
The Name
Why two coqs?
The name is two worlds coming together. France, where Thomas first fell for fine wine and craftsmanship. And Australia, where he built his career and found the freedom to make wine his own way. It's also Thomas and his wife, Jessica, two people whose shared journey sits at the heart of everything the brand stands for.
Meet the Winemaker
Made by hand, by Thomas dudek
I grew up in France, where wine is part of everyday life, always drawn to the craft behind a great bottle. In 2019 I moved to Mudgee for love and found a whole new life in wine. I started at the cellar door at Lowe Wines and worked my way into a winemaking role, refining my craft under respected Australian winemaker David Lowe. Two Coqs is my own project alongside that, a place to experiment, challenge convention, and make wines I'm proud to share.
Philisophy
My philosophy is simple
Start with exceptional fruit. Step in only when it makes the wine better. Never compromise on quality. I want wines with balance, freshness, texture and a true sense of place, the kind you open around a table, with good food and better company.
